1. Social Media Manager

Jing Culture & Commerce is looking for a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to help grow our social footprint across LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Discord. The ideal candidate will have experience in visual storytelling across various social platforms, a grasp of engagement data and social media trends, and the ability to work cross-functionally while managing various projects. They will also have deep knowledge and passion for social activations specific to the cultural, technology, and museum sectors, in addition to the NFT space. 

Key responsibilities 

  • Write, schedule, and optimize daily social posts for Jing Culture & Commerce and its sister vertical Jing Culture & Crypto across multiple platforms
  • Maintain and communicate a defined brand voice and visual aesthetic
  • Pitch social angles and social-extension ideas that align with editorial objectives
  • Analyze engagement data to better grow followers, spur interactions, and increase reach
  • Support Jing events via social distribution including collaboration on visuals, messaging, and calendar management
  • Work closely with editorial, marketing, and business development team to ideate and execute on social-focused initiatives

Required Knowledge / Qualifications

  • A deep or demonstrated understanding of the museum and cultural industries, and the NFT space — from a B2B perspective
  • A proven track record of running and growing various social channels
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and client management skills
  • A proactive, responsive, and hands-on work ethic, with attention to detail
  • Graphic design skills are a plus

2. Editorial Intern

Jing Culture & Commerce is seeking an Editorial Intern to assist with its B2B cultural content production. This position is ideal for a student or recent graduate with a passion for the arts and creative technologies, and an interest in the business of culture and the global museum landscape. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to pitch story ideas and craft original articles on the intersection of culture and technology, and work in close collaboration with the JCC editorial team. This is a remote, part-time position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pitching story ideas related to culture and technology in the museum space
  • Writing stories as assigned
  • Identifying key trends and topics in the cultural space and on social media
  • Assist with social media posts 
  • Providing research, transcription, and image-sourcing assistance to editorial team
  • Assist with other Jing Culture & Commerce initiatives including webinars, podcasts, and reports

Required Knowledge / Qualifications

  • Excellent written English with web-based writing experience
  • A demonstrated interest in the art, culture, and museum sectors
  • Experience or knowledge of social media platforms, particularly Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook
  • An interest or experience in audio production a plus
  • Available now for a minimum commitment of three months
