1. Content Manager (NFT Vertical)

Jing Culture & Commerce is looking for a Content Manager to create B2B content and lead our new vertical on NFT art and commerce. The role requires someone who is passionate about and knowledgeable of the NFT art space and marketplace, and the museum and cultural landscape — and how those two fields might intersect. Excellent writing skills and a robust work ethic are musts. The successful candidate will work closely with the Jing Culture & Commerce editorial team to produce stories on a weekly basis and assist in marketing efforts wherever needed. This is a remote, part-time, contracted position.

What you’ll do

  • Write and produce a bi-weekly NFT-focused newsletter
  • Write and produce at least two original web stories every week related to movements and emerging trends in crypto art and commerce 
  • Pitch at least three web stories each week
  • Build relationships with key crypto art players and observers
  • Identify content and partnership opportunities
  • Brainstorm and assist in marketing and social media efforts to grow the audience of our NFT vertical
  • Offer research assistance to editors and writers wherever needed

Who you are

  • A strong writer, able to swiftly turn out a story
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the NFT art space and marketplace
  • With a deep or proven interest in the arts, culture, and creative technologies
  • With solid news judgement and strong grasp of audience analytics 
  • Knowledge of WordPress, SEO, and social media
  • Possessing strong organizational and follow-up skills, and attention to detail
  • Possessing a positive, can-do attitude, and solid work ethic

2. Editorial Intern

Jing Culture & Commerce is seeking an Editorial Intern to assist with its B2B cultural content production. This position is ideal for a student or recent graduate with a passion for the arts and creative technologies, and an interest in the business of culture and the global museum landscape. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to pitch story ideas and craft original articles on the intersection of culture and technology, and work in close collaboration with the JCC editorial team. This is a remote full-time position.

Required Knowledge / Qualifications:

  • Excellent written English with web-based writing experience
  • A demonstrated interest in the art, culture, and museum sectors
  • Experience or knowledge of social media platforms, particularly Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook
  • Experience or knowledge of the WordPress content management system
  • Written Chinese skills a plus
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Chinese cultural landscape a plus
  • Available now for a minimum commitment of three months 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pitching story ideas related to culture and technology in the museum space
  • Writing stories as assigned
  • Identifying key trends and topics in the cultural space and on social media
  • Assist with social media posts 
  • Providing research, transcription, and image-sourcing assistance to editorial team
  • Assist with other JCC initiatives including webinars and reports

3. Design Intern

Jing Culture & Commerce is seeking a highly talented and creative Design Intern to assist with our visual growth. The design intern will work with the editorial team to design editorial layout, establish a consistent visual identity, and create visual elements accompanying high-quality, B2B content on culture and technology. Other tasks include supporting the editorial team in photo-editing, illustration, and executing Jing Culture & Commerce graphics standards across different platforms. 

An ideal candidate must have a keen eye for detail as well as a vision for consistent design throughout different platforms, for both digital and print. 

Required Knowledge / Qualifications:

  • Experience in both graphic and web design
  • Creative, with an eye for impactful images and visuals
  • Ability to visualize data, translating it into useful and striking infographics
  • Deep familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, MailChimp, and WordPress

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the editorial team in creating graphic elements, illustrations, photo editing, and image sourcing
  • Create illustrations and infographics to lead daily articles
  • Maintain a consistent visual language for Jing Culture & Commerce
  • Create visual content for Jing social media platforms
  • Develop design layouts for email newsletters, articles, and internal and external documents and presentations
  • Manage visual assets
