The Art Newspaper Live: Is the new spirit of collaboration lip-service or game-changing?

October 8, 2020 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm

New models for new times: Rethinking the art market in a changing world
The past year has presented the art trade with unprecedented challenges, but it has also revealed how changes in the way we do business may re-shape the industry into a more collaborative one. More galleries are working together, new art communities are coalescing and digital innovations are being developed at great speed. It is clear the art market is headed in a new direction—and if flights are grounded and borders closed due to the pandemic, perhaps that new direction will be a “glocal” one.
Join The Art Newspaper’s art market experts in conversation with industry thought leaders like Sunny Rahbar, Ayo Adeyinka and Clare McAndrew to discuss why galleries of all sizes are teaming up to try out new ideas, the shift to the “glocal” and what the art world can do to prepare for what could be a radically different future.
